What we are looking for:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in a law firm setting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (styles, track changes, document comparison, table of contents)
  • Strong skills with Adobe Acrobat Pro and DocuSign
  • Excellent written communication, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with NetDocuments or a similar document management system
  • A great sense of humor

General Responsibilities:

  • Formatting and managing complex legal documents with a high degree of accuracy
  • Drafting and editing correspondence and legal documents under attorney supervision
  • Communicating with clients and external parties in a professional, responsive manner
  • Maintaining and coordinating multiple attorney calendars and deadlines
  • Filing documents with state and county systems (including Simplifile and Secretary of State offices)
  • Organizing and maintaining files within internal document management systems
  • Providing high-level administrative and project support across the team

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000.

This range represents CP2’s good faith estimate of likely compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will be dependent upon a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills and may fall outside of the range indicated.
